What is expected of me as a participant?

Participants are asked to attend all four days of the event and to actively participate in all the sessions. No scientific background is required, and background information on the subject will be provided.

If I miss the first weekend can I come to the second weekend?

No. If you miss the first weekend you will not be allowed to participate in the second weekend.

I can make it for three of the four days, can I still participate in the event?

Unfortunately not. We ask that participants be present for all four days.

How were participants recruited for this event?

We hired ProCall Marketing Inc.
to call randomly selected households across BC and recruit between 25-30 participants.

Will food be provided for participants?

Meals will be provided. Saturday night dinners will be held at downtown Vancouver restaurants.

I have a food allergy, who should I speak to?

Please let Isaac know of any food restrictions/allergies that you may have.

I live outside of the lower mainland, and I have to fly/drive in to partcipate. Will my travel expenses be covered? Will I receive free accommodation for the night before the event?

If you are from outside the lower mainland, you will be offered travel and accommodation for the day before the event.
